I'm as gullible as a fish

fish... gullible... what?
I'm gullible. Actually, WE'RE gullible (I'm talking to you Kaiterade)

Funny story time? Yes please!
okay. So I was at my dear Kai's house last night and me annie and kaiterade were having a blast while Kailee was at nutcracker practice (yes, we were in her house without her or her mom for two and a half hours. we're awesome) and we watched Awkward and created a monster within Annie. So then Kailee got home and we started hearing these banging noises. and we freaked out and screamed and freaked out some more. and the dang banging got louder and it kept coming. so then Sue made us go down to the basement to check it out. nothing. so then we ran upstairs and told sue. and then we continued on with our happy little lives and watched TV. and then the banging came AGAIN. so we ran downstairs AGAIN. nothing. so then we decided to check outside, but it was too cold and sue told us no. and then kailee lost her phone! so we went downstairs to look for it because we thought she dropped it. and looked in Kailee's doll room.

let me tell you about her doll room. it's a room full of super creepy dolls that Kailee has TURNED THEIR HEADS SO THEY FACE YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN. and it has a whole wall full of dolls. chills.

so anyway, we opened the door and we heard WHISPERING. yes, whispering. so we booked it upstaris and screamed to the high heavens. and sue came out of her room to tell us we were all crazy.

so there we were, sitting on the couch huddled up and almost crying. hello? we're teenage girls! so then we kept hearing banging and there was no way in heck that me and Kaitlyn were going downstairs. NO WAY. so then Kailee goes downstairs to check it out (just imagine Kailee in a zebra snuggie freaking out as she goes downstairs. priceless) and she didn't come up for a looooooong time. and so me and Kaiterade were freaking out. and then I got a text from my dad saying he was here to pick me up. so i hugged Kait, and screamed downstairs to kailee that I was leaving. and guess who comes upstairs?

EMMA AND TESS! THEY WERE IN THE DOLL ROOM THEM WHOLE TIME! AND THEY BROUGHT A FREAKING CREEPY DOLL UPSTAIRS WITH THEM.

this is probably what we looked like

and this

So i yelled at them and was on my way. aahhh. the joys of october.

dang this blog challenge! I'm sick of it!

Day 20, a hobby of yours.

I actually really love making hair flowers. I made a ton during summer, but now i have no time and i can't! i miss it!

these were the ones that I could never figure out how to make.

I'm not the stereotypical teenager: I like school.

i'm not at school
i'm stuck at home.
and guess what?
I'm SAD about it!
I'm just a sickly girl who has thrown up once,
and her ma won't let her go.
so i've been watching Awkward all day
and now I have a headache.
I wanna be at school.

I bet your thought process right now is:

WHAT KIND OF TEENAGER ARE YOU IF YOU LIKE AND WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL?!?!

but i'm bored! i wanna see my friends and i wanna do stuff on a friday night (which I'll come up with a way to let my mama let me) but I'm lonely. Everyone's at school and work except Elysia. So she's watching Dora in the other room while I'm on the internet listening to music.

speaking of music, new favorite song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXxbC0B_74s

anyway.

I know what will occupy me! describing my school schedule to you all! interesting!

first period: Geography. Easiest class ever. I've been in honors core classes all through Jr. High, but my school doesn't offer an honors Geography in ninth grade. Just AP, and there's no way I would ever have time for that. And my teacher babies us. She types our notes out and we have to fill in the blanks, which are written on the powerpoint. It's a good thing a lot of this is easy, because I can never pay attention.

second period: Geometry. Don't even get me started. least favorite class. I like having a class with Reagan and Kai though. I just hate the subject.

third period: seminary. Mconkie is the funniest most random man alive. "AWESOME!" and I love the people in this class. Kylee, Jacinda, Lizzy and Sam Faber are the funniest people alive.

fourth period: choir. love this one. Mama Young is so amazing and I love everyone in this class. we scream at each other and laugh and giggle through the cheesy songs. and singing is just the greatest.

fifth: english. LOVE Holbrook and sitting behind Faber. Poor kid, I harass him like none other =)

sixth: biology. Decaire is so great I could die. She's one of us inside her teacher body.

seventh: student gov. Love love love this class. we're like a family here. we tease each other, yell at each other, fight with each other, laugh and just love each other. And Mr. King is our crazy uncle who lets us run wild while our parents are out of town (analogy. obviously)

BLOG CHALLENGE!

Day 19, a talent of yours.

Okay. Here's the deal. I used to be a total musical theatre nerd. I practically lived at Farmington Arts. and i was a pretty good singer. I still think I'm pretty good but not amazing. So I guess that's my talent. singing.

Oh! And I'm good at bossing people around!

That's a talent, right?

I'm singin' in the rain

Teenage girl emotion switch up! I'm pretty happy right now. Off the walls happy. Bouncing around the house happy. Dancing and singing in the rain/snow happy (yes. it is the first week or october and it has snowed in Utah. I'm hoping for an early SKI SEASON!) Floating on a cloud happy.

I'm just happy as a clam. or as happy as an Emmie.

a few reasons:

1. LISTS! (okay, not really but I like lists a lot)

2. I discovered a new band called Boyve Avenue. they make acoustic covers to radio songs. and since everyone knows how much I hate radio music... But I love them so much I could die. DIE.

LINK. LINK LINK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9ETxBHYBAU

3. other reasons. some reasons that I think I'm going to NOT write all over the internet. ya know.

I'm seriously smiling my face off. It hurts. okay. I need to stop blabbing.

challenge. I'm sick of this dang thing. but i gotta finish it! yes i do!

How much is a Liter?

How much is it? huh? huh? I was reading this book last night (Dear Dumb Diaries) and Jamie Kelly (narrator) was talking about the metric system, and she says,

"One day someone woke up and decided a liter was a liter. And everyone agreed. BUT HOW BIG IS A LITER?!"

hahahahahha. funny.

kay, Day 15: a song that makes you cry.

Thoughts

first, on the list of things roaming around in my head, is the blog challenge.

Day 15: your dream house.

So, when I'm older, I'm going to DESIGN my own house. with my psychiatric degree, nothing can stop the power of older Emmie! And this house will be huge, with a massive wraparound porch with a hot tub. and it will have three floors. middle floor, living area, huge kitchen with big island in the middle and big fridge and double ovens. living room with big TV. bathrooms. yada yada. upstairs, mine and hot husbands floor. big master bedroom, balcony and big bathroom. downstairs, kidlings space. playroom, rooms, la la.

ta da!!

second on my list is to express my appreciation for my dear friends: Kai and Kaitlyn. They have been my buddies these past couple weeks and I just love them so much it hurts. but not a bad kind, a good kind of hurt.

third, today was crappy. I was exhausted all day and I feel sick. and other things happened, but I'd rather NOT share those on the internet, thank you very much.

fourth, I LOVE YOU KAYLA BAIRD! THANKS FOR READING!

OH AND i LOVE YOU MELANY CHAVEZ!

(these are darling girls who talk to me about my blog at school, so here's a shout out to them =D)

fifth, life is getting better every day.

sixth, a funny quote:

Expect problems, and eat them for BREAKFAST!

Sunday, October 2, 2011

Life might not be the party we hope for, but while we're here, we might as well DANCE

I've been dancing a lot these past couple days. In my head, practicing dance or just spazzing out. This random dancing is caused by many reasons:

Abduction. Taylor Launtner. Kaitlyn and Kai. The best joy of my life.

BEST.MOVIE.EVER.

two words: 80s. Dresses.

Conference and our hilarious prophet. oh my. "I NEEDED that five dollar bill."

we got a 50 inch TV!!! I'm not much of a TV person, but I got up early this morning so I could watch on it before my siblings. I'm a nerd.

Yesterday, I spent the whole morning reading random facts off of the internet. My favorite on is that tan skin is actually damaged skin cells, and if you tan you'll probably die sooner or get diseases. GOOD DAY FOR PALE REDHEADS LIKE ME!

okay, Day 14: a non-fictional book you like.

hmm.... I'm really a fiction kinda person... so my favorite non fictional book is the Book of Mormon. It's the book I read pretty much every night. And it's kind of what I LIVE by. and it's just a good book.

now, I'm going to go listen to conference and make Kenz some JB cupcakes:)

I hope they turn out like this!

DAYS 12 AND 13

Day 12: something you're OCD about

hmm.... alright. There's a few things, that I shall name.

because I'm addicted to lists, here you go:

1. in my house, we have a few kinds of spoons. and I can only eat off of the ones with little decorative lines on them. if i don't, food tastes funny and the spoon feels weird in my mouth and hands.

2. when my dad calls Desi's little sister Maig. It's MEG. mEg! not maig. uggggh.

3. i hate the number 3. and number 7. it's not really OCD but it's annoying.

Day 13: a fictional book you like

just to let the internet know, I love reading with all my heart. I'll read anything. Cereal boxes, nutrition facts, childrens books, anything.

favorites:

Fancy Nancy books

Can't we all just be as classy as Nancy?

anything written by Wendy Mass

Princess Academy
and Junie B Jones books

... and these are just a few!

PS: update on my life... everything's starting to work out. not really the best friend thing, but you know, maybe I need just some time to think about myself, and how to make myself better and to just get to know ME. this will be good for me... I know it will!
