lifey.

This week has the promise of being long. Really long.

reaaaaaallllllyyyyyy long.

So long that I've been yelling at Jill from Dance moms this whole rerun episode.

So long that I had a blanket around me at school all day.

So long that the only thing I'm looking forward to this week is Dance Moms and that really cute Eban kid on American Idol.

So long that I'm watching my brothers friends play on their little electronic thingies.

So long that I just realized I have a geography quiz tomorrow.

awww man.

also, since we're just talking about my life, I've decided that I must share with you my dilemma. I've been saying the word "dude" after every sentence. I've had to stop myself from typing it three times now. AND IT'S MAKING ME SOUND LIKE A REGULAR TEENAGER!!!

this is not good.

also, I am texting, watching TV and am blogging at the same time. Skill? no.

ahhhhhh.

Just the Way you Are.

No. I'm not talking about the Bruno Mars song (which is all about the girl's looks and makes me gag. Unless it is sung acoustically by Boyce Avenue. PS: buying tickets to their concert tomorrow.
BE. JEALOUS.)

anyway.

today, I was reading Galadarling.com which is an awesome blog about "Radical Self Love" although some of her posts are naughty...

but today I read the Valentine's day post. And I was inspired. It first talks about how no Prince Charming or Princess Charming can save you. You have to save yourself. And the media and society is putting way too much pressure on love and relationships to "save us." But we can actually save ourselves. And to save ourselves, we have to love ourselves.

Because, if you don't love yourself, how is anyone else going to love you or want to be with you?

I thought it was cool. Because my perceptions of love and relationships are warped. But now I see that not everyone is so dependent on that. And if you are, you shouldn't be. Because most people desiring love and boyfriends aren't loving themselves as much as they should. And I'm not saying that I'm planning on going and finding a boyfriend tomorrow. I'm just saying that I have hope for the future.

everything just looks better written in the sand:)

I...

deleted my facebook.

pulled my hamstring interpretive dancing.

have had weird dreams recently.

and have been breaking out all over my poor face.

let's address the first issue at hand, facebook. I loved facebook as much as anyone, but I found myself spending WAY too much time on the Book and Pinterest. Lots and lots and lots of time. So I decided to change that. and my facebook is gone now. Which has been THE best decision of my life. Not joking. Yesterday, I came home from Student Gov made dinner, cleaned the living room, TV room, kitchen AND the Dinning room and did my homework all before Ma got home from work.

Yeah, best daughter ever award goes to me.

but this no facebook thing also sucks. My pageviews have gone waaaaay down. Like, from about 100 a day to 25. So your job is to keep reading! I'll send texts to all who want them! And I'm making my brother post this on his facebook so everyone will see! But don't stop reading! The web address is emmieisaredhead.blogspot.com  or it might be @blogspot. I don't remember.

DON'T STOP READING!!!

and the pulled muscle speaks for itself.

and so have the weird dreams.

and so have the zits.

happy Thursday!!!

I have red rainboots, just like this piggy. except mine are sparkly. and I thought this was cute, so ta da!

S.A.D.

single. awareness. day.

otherwise known as Valentine's day.

please, gag me with a fork.

I'm single, and I'm aware. I'm not crying in my pillow about not having a guy. Not at all. I'm kind of dancing around because I don't have a boyfriend. not now, not for a loooooooong time. (I say I'll be thirty before I date)

as most of you know, my viewpoint on boys and love is closed minded. sure, i like guys, but that doesn't matter in Jr. High. Most (cough dumb cough) Jr. High girls are always in "love". no, you're not. you are in infatuation. which means a deep interest. or obsessive. yeah, i went there.

anyway, not to stray from the point, Valentine's day is always a downer for me. Watching girls get depressed from not getting a stupid candy heart from that "special boy". Watching guys blow all their money on that "special girl" that they'll lose interest in in a few weeks. it's all worthless.

And another reason I dislike this day: I'd rather have someone give me flowers, or something stupid, on an unexpected day. not a day that is planned (although, I guess it was planned because no boy can forget S.A.D. like they forget birthdays or anything else)

I'm sorry if I'm so negative, and if you love today, then by all means, enjoy it! But S.A.D. just rubs me the wrong way most of the time.

So I'm celebrating today by eating junk and not feeling bad about it, getting corny cards from my friends (and giving out Star Wars ones. yeahhhh) and playing with my little sister. Not too bad, I will say.

if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it.

For Annie.

Annie is bored, so I shall blog just for her.

So this is an ode to Annie.

The deal is this: we've been friends since general music in seventh grade. And then eighth grade we were attached to each other. And ninth grade we're still goin' strong. And I hope we go strong till we're 100 years old!  And even longer!

Annie does weird things with me. She comes up with weird ideas. She's the only one who won't judge you by what you want to do. I'd rather play dress up with her than go to a party any day. I've done all my weirdest things with her so far. I always love when I hang out with her, whether we're talking or doing something fun/strange.

Annie is also one of the only people who doesn't judge me for my decisions. I can talk and talk to her and she'll just listen. And her advice is off the hizzle! (that means it's really really good). And she is honest. I love her honesty and her listening skills. She has a special talent to make you feel important when you talk to her. I could talk to her for hours and hours.

and now.. the list of the weird things (that I can remember right now) we've done.

please enjoy the following pictures taken by Ken Ken's mama. They are very entertaining and enjoyable:)

we enjoy each other:)

Mr. King's idea. What a champ.

we love each other.

we also love flying.

these kids make my day. everyday.

why are we so dang cute?

this might be a good time to mention how much I adore and love these officers. Seriously, they make my life just a million times better. I've already blogged about this, but really. they are my school family. We all yell at each other, get annoyed at each other but we love each other lots. And they are the sole reason that ninth grade is the best year of my life. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
