I've been singing day and night, happy or sad, rainy or sunny. A song is just always coming out of my mouth, or out of my earbuds. This may or may not have to do with the fact that choir is almost over.
We had our concert on Thursday, and it was kind of emotional for me. I have a love-hate relationship with choir. I always have, since eighth grade. Some days I walk in ready to sing and be happy, and some days I'm so sick of singing the same songs over and over and over again that I just sit on the floor until Mama Young tells me to get my butt in my chair. I love having a class with Kate, Jake and Melany, but I just have mixed feelings about it.
So on this particular day I was feeling sentimental. I've been with Mama Young for my whole Jr. High experience. She was the one thing that was always the same, every single year. I'm not going to miss the lame songs we have to sing, but I will miss Mrs. Young.

So, I am very particular to my music. I'm kind of a music brat, to say it bluntly. When people plug in their ipod and start blasting, I literally sometimes have to restrain myself from covering my ears and huddling in the fetal position in the corner. I'm not going to judge you on your taste in music, but I will not listen to it. You can like whatever music you want to like, and i don't care. just don't jam your headphones in my ear and make me listen. you will get slapped.
um... so what was I talking about? Oh yeah, music.
So I found this thing in pinterest. It was a twenty day song challenge. But I'm not doing it in 30 days, I'm doing all thirty of them right now! (hey, you were the one that chose to read this. self inflicted).
#1- your favorite song. my favorite song changes as fast as hummingbird's wings flap. at this very second it is White Blank Page by Mumford and Sons. But it'll probably change again by the time I finish this post.
#2- your least favorite song. I'm not judging you if you like this song, but anything by Iron and Wine. Pandora thinks I should love them because they are on every single one of my stations. But honestly, i can't stand 'em.
#3- a song that makes you happy. any song from Lilo and Stitch. That has the best disney soundtrack in my opinion.
#4- a song that makes you sad. God be with you until we meet again. It's a hymn. I don't really want to say anything more.
#5- a song that reminds you of someone. there are many. right now I'm listening to Five Years Time and it's reminding me of Casey, because we discuss Noah and the Whale often.
#6- a song that reminds you of somewhere. Ron Pope's "I'm Yours" makes me think of Rocket Park tennis courts. Don't ask.
#7- a song that reminds you of an event. Supermassive Black Hole reminds me of when I would spend hours at Carli's house watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
#8- a song you know all the words to. off the top of my head... Something Good Can Work, Two Door Cinema Club.
#9- a song that you can dance to. There's a Chance (You and I) by JRA
#10- a song that makes you fall asleep. Flying from the "real" Peter Pan.
#11- a song from your favorite band. aaack! these are hard! right now it would be Grace Kelley by MIKA.
#12- a song from a band you hate. what makes you beautiful, one direction. gag gag gag. (i won't judge you, you don't judge me)
#13- a song that is your guilty pleasure. alright, I admit it. I like I'm Sexy and I Know it.
#14- a song that no one would expect you to love. I really love Nice Guys by Nigahiga. Youtube it.
#15- a song that describes you. i'm stumped. i really have no idea.
#16-a song you used to love but now hate. Smile, Uncle Kracker. ughhh.
#17- a song you hear often on the radio. I don't listen to the radio.
#18- a song you wish you would hear on the radio. no songs that i like thank you, no overplaying here.
#19- a song from your favorite album. i really like the Juno movie soundtrack. I'm made of glue is my favorite.
#20- a song that you listen to when your angry. I listen to Chase Coy when I'm angry. calms me down.
